A Brightlingsea-based photographer whose career has included taking portraits of royalty, prime ministers and a US president, is offering quick fire shoots at a special price, in support of Brightlingsea WinterFest.
The offer is being made by Paul Hammond, who runs his photography business at Studio 6 in Brightlingsea High Street. “I am very pleased to be supporting WinterFest by having an open afternoon Sunday, March 27 and will be offering a quick fire £25, 15 minute shoot,”he said.
“This will give people the chance to have professional photos taken of themselves or their family and they will receive six high quality edited images ready for printing. The sessions will run from 12.30 to 4.30 pm.
“People are also welcome to just pop in and see what we do, or view our unique selection of props from films like The Kingdom of Heaven, War Horse and Black Hawk Down, to mention just a few. The props are all for sale or hire.”
Paul began his career as a press photographer in 1989 and his work included covering a wide variety of royal events. He has also worked for many major companies and has had more than 4,000 photos published in newspapers, magazines and books. A keen sailor, he has also worked at Brightlingsea Harbour.
He has been a long-term supporter of WinterFest, taking pictures at many of the festival’s music, arts and spoken word attractions, including this year’s events. Of the many photographs Paul has taken one of his favourites is of Bill Clinton. The photo forms a striking display surrounding the counter in Studio 6.
