The much-loved WinterFest Creative Weekend includes a wide variety of Arts & Craft Taster Workshops, encouraging participants to try their hand at something new. We aim to cater for a wide range of abilities, with plenty for the kids as well.
Artists and makers donate their time and ask for a contribution to the cost of materials. Some are drop-in sessions and some will require booking.
The WinterFest Galley café will run from 10am-4pm offering drinks and a wide range of sweet and savoury refreshments and all proceeds go to the WinterFest Wellbeing Fund. Vouchers for the galley and some workshops will be available to clients of Brightlingsea Foodbank.

Join Lucy to create your own “Claymuseable” – Suitable for adults and children aged 8+ (aged from 6 with adult supervision). Items will need to be dried and fired before collection 2-3 weeks. There should be some drop-in places available on the day.

Cally James Hippy Hut Pottery – Spring-themed hanging wall tiles. 10am & 1pm.
Get creative depicting lambs, Spring flowers, Blossom, Chicks and more. We will be using the techniques Sgraffito and embossing to create beautiful wall art tiles themed for spring. Cally will bring along finished examples of these. All pieces will be fired/glazed within 2 weeks of the event.

Join our wonderful Charlie Bran and enjoy printing onto his own handmade paper using premade printing cuts of the signs of the Zodiac. Experiment with colour and overlay printing techniques.
